Clinicians

We are actively seeking medical professionals from all specialties who are interested in joining the WCCHR's team of evaluators. The WCCHR will provide evaluators with training in conducting asylum evaluations and in documenting evidence of torture in the form of a medical affidavit.

The time commitment for an evaluator is very flexible and can vary from one or two evaluations per year to multiple evaluations per month, depending on the evaluator's preference and availability. Evaluations can be conducted at any time of the day, usually on weekdays. Most of our evaluations take place at the Weill Cornell campus.

If you would like to volunteer with the WCCHR or would like more information about our upcoming evaluator training sessions, please contact us at wcchr@med.cornell.edu
