We are actively seeking medical professionals from all specialties who are interested in joining WCCHR's team of evaluators. WCCHR will provide evaluators with training in conducting asylum evaluations and in documenting evidence of torture in the form of a medical affidavit. For more information on our upcoming evaluator trainings, please visit our ‘Events’ page or contact us at

The time commitment for an evaluator is very flexible and can vary from one or two evaluations per year, to multiple evaluations per month, depending on the evaluator's preference and availability. Evaluations can be conducted at any time of the day, usually on weekdays. Most of our evaluations take place at the Clinical Skills Center, in the Weill Greenberg Building (1305 York Avenue) or somewhere else at the Weill Cornell campus.

If you would like to volunteer with us or would like more information, please reach out to us!
