October Pods

October 14, 2025 - 6:00pm

If you want to learn more about trauma-informed care, stay tuned…

WCCHR hosts monthly Pods, where we go through patient cases and discuss the medical context, clinical interview techniques, and more with an expert physician. This month, Dr. Rios, trained in child and adolescent psychiatry, will go through two patient cases from WCCHR. Not surprisingly, she will be reviewing a child and adolescent case. Next, we’ll discuss as a group the differences in clinical presentation between children and adolescents, and explore how we can tailor medical care to each group’s needs. It’ll be a very interesting session, so we hope you can join!

When: Oct 14 6-7 PM
Where: LC 207/208 at 1300 York
Trader Joe’s snacks will be provided!
